HOLIDAY SERVICES SCHEDULE
PWS observes four holidays each year; New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Garbage will not be collected on these days and service for the remainder of the week
will be delayed one day.
During the week of a holiday, if your service day is BEFORE the holiday,
there will be no change in your service.
For example, if New Year's Day falls on a Wednesday, Monday and Tuesday service will remain unaffected. Wednesday will be collected on Thursday, Thursday will be collected on Friday and Friday will be collected on Saturday.
2026 Holiday Schedule
Memorial Day
Service will run on Monday, May 25th and there will be no interruption in
the collection schedule for the entire week.
4th of July
Independence Day on Saturday, July 4 will not impact our collection schedule.
There will be no interruption in the collection schedule.
Labor Day
Service will run on Monday, September 7th and there will be no interruption in
the collection schedule for the entire week.
Thanksgiving
Monday, November 23rd - No change in service
Tuesday, November 24th - No change in service
Wednesday, November 25th - No change in service
Thursday, November 26th - No service; garbage will be picked up on Friday, November 27th
Friday, November 27th - Garbage will be picked up on Saturday, November 28th
Christmas
Monday, December 21st - No change in service
Tuesday, December 22nd - No change in service
Wednesday, December 23rd - No change in service
Thursday, December 24th - No change in service
Friday, December 25th - No service; garbage will be picked up on Saturday, December 26th
