PWS observes four holidays each year: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Garbage will not be collected on these days and service for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day.
During the week of a holiday, if your service day is before the holiday, there will be no change in your service. For example, if New Year's Day falls on a Wednesday, Monday and Tuesday service will remain unaffected. Wednesday will be collected on Thursday, Thursday will be collected on Friday and Friday will be collected on Saturday.
Service will run on Monday, May 25th and there will be no interruption in the collection schedule for the entire week.
Independence Day on Saturday, July 4 will not impact our collection schedule. There will be no interruption in the collection schedule.
Service will run on Monday, September 7th and there will be no interruption in the collection schedule for the entire week.
